Hands of Rescue for Disadvantaged Children

“Hey, can you give me a hand?”. We have all heard this phrase a million times from a friend or family member; maybe they were on the ground after a bad fall or carrying something that was too heavy for them. Those are loaded words. What does it really mean to carry a load too heavy for you? Have you always had a home, food to eat, or a doctor to visit when in doubt? There are children who have never had that. There are children who don’t even get a meal per day. Those children are carrying a load much too heavy for them, and they could use a hand. Hands of Rescue for Disadvantaged Children was created to be an extra set of hands for those children, to help take some of that weight off of innocent children born into unfortunate circumstances. Imagine carrying a fifteen-foot log just by yourself. Would you want someone to add their hands on the other end, just to help you get it to where it needs to be? The children we are trying to help are carrying this log by themselves. If you would like your hands to be the ones to grab the other end of this log, check out our Sponsor a Child page. These children with nothing need someone like you. We created Hands of Rescue to help these children and families get the help they need. We created Hands of Rescue to provide for the disadvantage and impoverished children of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. We hope you have noticed a pattern here; we want to provide. We know these children are carrying a load much too heavy for them, and we want to help lighten the load. We are trying to get them as much help as we possibly can, and that includes getting help from people like you. People always say to invest your money. Why not invest your money into something so beautiful and innocent as a child?"

What We Do

To help children and offer them the best life possible! These children can only carry these heavy loads for so long. Their frail little fingers are slipping off of the logs they carry so bravely on their backs. Our mission at Hands of Rescue for Disadvantaged Children is to give every child another set of hands to help with carrying their loads.

Sponsor a Child Today!

Our Sponsor a Child Program is pretty simple. Should you decide to sponsor a child, you are making the commitment to contribute twenty-eight dollars every month to the child you selected to sponsor. This money goes directly to educational expenses the child has.

Volunteer To Give A Hope

We need volunteers. It is as plain and simple as that. We need people on the ground making the meals for the children, educating them, supporting them, and showing them unconditional love. We need friendly faces for these children to look forward too. Dedicated teachers, friends, cooks, supporters, and volunteers are the most precious thing we can offer the children we reach.
